Whew!  Rostered on the Youth Desk during the Summer Reading opening party.  Busy, noisey, mental – like a demolition squad.

S&V Manual

The S&V Manual continues to make progress … I’ve finished going through the CHYPS manual exampls and making annotations so that it fits with S&V.  Now on with the typing up, proofing, tweaking, changing updating, etc.

abyssos in the stores

abyssos is now available at Mango Music on Broadway and at the CD store in Downtown.  Yay.

Rostering week again.  Whew.  It’ll take days to recover again.

Christmas Music

Yes, it’s only early November, but the Christmas music is already out on the racks.

abyssos is out

Yep, the copies of the abyssos CD arrived yesterday.  I’ll get them numbered, then start distributing.  It’s exciting to see the fruition of the project, something that I’m proud of that looks really great.  The library’s copy will be out on the shelves soon.  I hope the CD Store and Mango will sell me some copies – gotta do a poster for it now.

New Music

I’ve started in on some new music – looking at longer shifting drones … creating pieces, then mixing them so the soundscape changes.  Lots of layers and building to do.  abyssos CDs should be here any day soon – I can’t wait to get them out there.

Stun

Another busy week.  Marking is backing up again, thankfully the last lot for the year.  Must have been a hold-up ‘cos stuff that arrived at the Uni last thursday/friday didn’t get to me until yesterday – a bit frustrated ‘cos I’d cleared time in the weekend to work on it.  Oh well, just got to get on with it now.  Hoping the proof for the new Venus Vulture album will be with me soon – will approve it, then get the stack of disks soon after – then can start distributing them …

NIMH

I’ve been listening to the album The Impossible Days by Nimh.    A kind of busy type of ambient – lots of field recordings and voices.  Very stylish and engaging.  Another one I bought through www.ambientmusic.co.uk

New display again

Whew, another big new display tomorrow.  Lots of new pop which is good to see.
